TAC 2022 Conference Early Bird Deadline extended until March 6th for In-Person Attendance in Montreal

A decision was made by the TAC Board of Directors that we will extend the early bird pricing from January 31st until March 6th. We are doing this recognizing the uncertainty  that is faced by many people whether you will be able to attend an in-person event in Montreal April 7-8, 2022. The Board is closely monitoring the local public health restrictions and have been given until March 1st by the hotel to decide if we need to cancel the in-person event or whether we can continue to go ahead with a smaller-than-usual number of delegates who are able/want to travel.  We have given all our invited speakers and abstract presenters the option to attend in person but if they are unable to do so, they will be presenting their presentations as pre-recorded talks.  The event was always planned as a “hybrid” offering both an in-person option and a virtual option to register as a delegate.  The virtual option will be pre-recorded talks that will be released asynchronously on April  7 & 8, but they will remain available for viewing for approximately 1 year so you do not have to be present on-line on the conference dates to still be able to register and view all the oral presentations and posters. For anyone who registers in person, you are also given access to the virtual platform (at no additional cost) so you can view talks when you return home again.

If the decision is made that we are unable to hold an in-person conference, then anyone who registered to attend in Montreal will be transitioned to the virtual program and we will refund the difference in what you have paid.

We hope this gives you a bit more time to decide if you wish and are able to attend in person. Please make your hotel reservation soon as we have a reduced room block available. You can cancel later if you are unable to attend. See all the posted links elsewhere on this site.
