• Selective Non-Operative Management of Penetrating Abdominal Injury:  Survey of Practice (CA)The management of penetrating abdominal injuries has undergone significant changes over the last decade, and selective non-operative management in particular appears to have gained acceptance.

  In an effort to gain a more thorough understanding of how penetrating abdominal wounds are managed, and how non-operative management is applied, we are conducting a survey of members of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ASGBI), the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST), the Trauma Association of Canada (TAC), the Sociedade Brasileira de Atendimento Integrado ao Traumatizado (SBAIT) and trauma surgeons in South Africa.
