Thank you for attending the 2020 Annual General Meeting of the Association. Please find the following information and documents for the 2020 AGM:

Who Can be Present at the Meeting?  As per General Operating Bylaw No 1 the following individuals may be present at the AGM:

4.07 Persons Entitled to be Present

The only persons entitled to be present at a meeting of members shall be those entitled to vote at the meeting, the Directors, the Officers and the public accountant of the Association and such other persons who are entitled or required under any provision of the Act, Articles or Bylaws of the Association to be present at the meeting. Any other person may be admitted only on the invitation of the chair of the meeting or by Ordinary Resolution of the members.

Please note that in addition to the above statement, the TAC President extends a welcome to all individuals who are classified as “Affiliates” in the membership category to attend the AGM, however, you are unable to vote on any motions that are raised.

Proxy Voting- As per Section 4.11 of General Operating By-law No 1, “a member entitled to vote at a meeting of members may vote by proxy by appointing another proxy holder…”

Proxy voting Form deadline was June 8, 2020. No proxys can be processed at this time.

Minutes of 2019- Please find for your reading and review, the minutes of the AGM held February 28, 2019 in Calgary.  These minutes will be approved by the membership at the AGM on June 10, 2020 via Zoom. AGM Minutes 2019

Audited Financial Statement- Each year the Auditing Firm of Baker-Tilley of Dartmouth Nova Scotia conducts an independent financial audit of the Association.  If you wish to obtain a copy of the full report you may do so by sending a request to the TAC office.  At the AGM we will be viewing the summary sheet of the financial information. Summary of 2019 Audited Financial Statement

2019 Membership Survey Results

A Message from TAC Board of Directors

A web-based TAC Membership survey was sent out in October 2019 to all active TAC members and affiliates (n=261), along with several subsequent reminders. The survey contained questions on member satisfaction/engagement; preferences for TAC activities; and preferences for the TAC Annual Scientific Meeting & Conference, as well as write in boxes to provide more details or suggestions for improvement.

We received responses from 101 individuals (39% response rate) Thank-you! Your feedback has provided meaningful information on what TAC should focus on, so we can better meet your needs and ultimately to contribute to the vision we all share to “Improve the lives of all those affected by, or at risk of traumatic injury.”
