Job Posting-Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon-The Ottawa Hospital/University of Ottawa

The Department of Surgery at The Ottawa Hospital/ University of Ottawa is inviting applications for a permanent
position in the Division of General Surgery. We seek a full-time, academic Trauma and Acute Care General Surgeon, at
the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have completed a residency program in general surgery as
well as fellowship training in Trauma or Acute Care General Surgery. The successful candidate will participate in multiple
clinical roles including: MRP on Acute Care Surgery Service, MRP on Trauma Service, Trauma Team Leader Roster,
Emergency Surgery Clinic, and On Call Coverage. In addition, the candidate will be provided time to develop an elective
general surgery practice. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in education, research and quality
initiatives.
