Academic Trauma & Acute Care General Surgery Position

The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, invites applications for a full-time, permanent position of a General Surgeon to be based at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. The position includes 10 weeks of trauma surgery call, 6 weeks of acute care surgery call, and 2 elective operative days per month. Formal trauma fellowship training is required. The successful candidate will take part in the undergraduate and post-graduate surgery curricula at the University of Alberta. Remuneration will be a Fee for Service (FFS) model for General Surgery and Alternative Relationship Plan (ARP) for Trauma. Anticipated start date of July 1^st, 2026.
