VISION:  Improve the lives of all those affected by or at risk of traumatic injury.
Publication Committee

The Publications Committee is a secretariat of one (the chair) and reports to the TAC Executive (semi-annually) and the membership at annual assemblies. This committee is responsible primarily for the publication of materials relating to the TAC annual scientific assembly. This includes two main activities:

First, The Committee chair is in regular contact with the editorial office of the Journal of Trauma. In that regard, the chair ensures the publication in the Journal of Trauma are accepted abstracts for presentations (poster and oral) to be made at the TAC annual meeting. Ideally, this publication occurs in the month preceding the annual meeting.

Second, the chair works with the editorial office of the Journal of Trauma to assist it in a review process that results in the consolidated and early publication of reviewed and acceptable manuscripts generated from the annual scientific assembly.

This committee works closely with the TAC scientific Committee after it has selected the abstracts for the annual meeting. The committee maintains frequent contact with the editorial office of the Journal of Trauma to assist it in the resolution of any difficulties encountered in the submission of abstracts or scientific papers.
