VISION:  Improve the lives of all those affected by or at risk of traumatic injury.

Accredited/Verified Hospital

***The following Accredited/Verified Hospitals are based on the Accreditation Guidelines from 2011 and are for historical reference purposes only as organizations are no longer accredited by TAC once their accreditation status has lapsed under these guidelines. Instead TAC has entered a partnership with Accreditation Canada and the Standards have been transitioned to the Trauma Distinction Program under Accreditation Canada since 2014.***

Prior to June 2007, the accreditation criteria levels of designation where tertiary, district and primary. Following June 2007 the designation levels changed to Level I, II, III, IV and V. Please refer to the Trauma Centre Accreditation Guidelines, Section 3 - Levels of Trauma Centres.

Trauma Centre Accreditation/Verification is for a period of 5 years. One year extensions can be granted in specific circumstances.
