2012 TAC Conference - April 12-13, 2012

The Trauma Association of Canada (TAC) hosts Canada's premier multi-disciplinary conference on trauma. The 2012 program will feature a wide range of educational activities, including discussion panels on controversial topics, special interest group meetings, clinical updates, and special symposia. 

Highlights include:

  • Murray Girotti Injury Prevention Lecture – How WE Prevent the Economic Burden – Dr. Charles Tator
  • Fraser Gurd Lecture – Dr. Rao Ivatury
  • International Lecture Presentation – Dr. Ari Leppaniemi
  • Royal College Lecture – Creating a Stronger Voice for Reducing Injuries – Dr. Louis Francescutti
  • Talks on current developments in trauma care and disaster preparedness
  • The non-scientific portion of the meeting includes an opening reception and a conference dinner in the historic Distillery District
