Update on Trauma Association of Canada’s Partnership with Accreditation Canada

The following includes an update on our work with Accreditation Canada and what it means for you.

The Trauma Association of Canada (TAC) and Accreditation Canada are in the process of transitioning the accreditation of trauma services to Accreditation Canada. Effective January 1, 2013, TAC is no longer providing Trauma System Accreditations. TAC’s experience and expertise will be effectively integrated into the Accreditation Canada national framework. Our plans for this project include development throughout 2013, with pilots beginning in the Fall.
